The yield potential is determined at the planning stage. Plant at half the right density, and you’ll get half the harvest.

On the other hand, planting too much will kill the airflow, increase humidity, and raise fungal disease pressure.

One thing to always keep in mind: 1% more light = 1% more yield.

So, planting too densely is also a yield killer because it creates too much shade on fruits and leaves.
